Program Description

Event Details

Dancing at the Library!
Story. Performance. Community Movement. This program will center on the gifts of the fairies to Aurora from The Sleeping Beauty, and will end with dancing all together. This event is free & open to all.

Join Mikayla Archambeau, director of Amherst Ballet, and some of her dancers, as they perform some dances from the fairies from this beloved fairytale. This will be followed by an invitation for children and caregivers to join the company for some creative movement, exploring how we can create scenes and tell stories through movement. The program will finish with a question and answer session for any of the attendees with questions about ballet, dancing, choreographing, or anything else!
