The Friends of Hadley Public Library Present The Art of the Song Series with Special Guest Christa Joy

The Art of the Song series at the Hadley Library will offer audiences special insight into the complex and storied craft of songwriting. Shows will begin and end with host Harry Remer and an accomplished local singer-songwriter performing original songs. In between, they will discuss the making of one of the guest’s songs—covering inspiration, process and discipline, overcoming doubt, and more—all in a spacious and attractive literary setting.  

This month's guest will be Pioneer Valley favorite Christa Joy. An accomplished Americana songwriter with a classic country flair, Christa has graced the stages of the Parlor Room, the Iron Horse, and Club Passim. She has opened for Lucy Wainwright Roche, The Sweetback Sisters, and Loudon Wainwright III.
