Hadley Historical Society presents Robert Madison discussing his new biography of Lt. Richard Falley, Jr. - Revolutionary War soldier, Patriot, & Armorer - and George Washington's secret armory in Western Massachusetts. Falley supplied flintlock muskets to the newly established continental Army from his secret armory at Mt. Tekoa in the foothills of the Berkshires. The lecture will include Falley's involvement in the 1756 French and Indian War, followed by his service after the Lexington and Concord conflict in 1775, including Bunker Hill and Saratoga.
